An eclectic and strong-willed personality, defined by the ambition to realize her dreams with determination from a very young age, the stylist and entrepreneur Elisabetta Franchi is the soul of the brand of the same name, capable of conquering the female universe by combining elegance and seduction, practicality and contemporary femininity.

Born in Bologna, class of 1968, into a family of humble origins, Elisabetta Franchi realized as a child that her vocation was fashion. She discovers it through her only doll, Betty, which will give its name to the company Betty Blue SpA, founded in 1998.

She took her first steps in the sector as a sales assistant, discovering herself capable of intercepting customers' needs.

Driven by ambition, intuition and strategic vision, in 1995 she opened a small atelier which in 1998 transformed into a company: Betty Blue SpA.

In 2012 the designer chose to sign her creations with her own name, giving life to the eponymous Elisabetta Franchi brand, which debuted at Milan Fashion Week with the Spring/Summer 2015 collection.

In 2021, the stylist's entrepreneurial acumen was recognized with the honor of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella. In the same year you received the Ernst & Young Italia award as entrepreneur of the year for having been able to create value, with an innovative spirit and strategic vision, contributing to the growth of the national economy.

Always personally active in the defense of animal rights, between 2012 and 2013 Elisabetta Franchi chose to eliminate animal fur from her collections, followed by goose down and angora wool. In 2015 she became a member of the LAV (Anti Vivisection League) and in 2018 she created the Elisabetta Franchi Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting initiatives aimed at animal protection.
